Cynthia Veintemillas is an organized, detail-oriented trial attorney. As a former assistant public defender, she has represented a diverse group of clients in every phase of criminal proceedings. She realizes that her client's liberty is at stake in each criminal case and has successfully argued for bond reductions, including non-monetary forms of release.

Cynthia Veintemillas understands that every case is different, and she listens to her client's individual needs in order to develop trial strategies or a favorable disposition for the case. She has negotiated hundreds of cases resulting in the dismissal of charges or favorable plea agreements. She has taken many cases to jury trials and earned the trial award for most jury trials in County Court from 2006 to 2007 from the Duval County Office of the Public Defender.

Since joining Apple Law Firm PLLC in Jacksonville, Florida, Cynthia Veintemillas has expanded her areas of practice beyond Florida Criminal Defense.  She has represented several Florida Juvenile Criminal Defendants and actively seals and expunges criminal records in Florida.  She has reached out beyond criminal law, and represents clients in a variety of civil matters.  Such civil cases range from litigation involving Florida Wills and Florida Trusts to Breach of Contract Cases in Florida and Florida Foreclosure Defense.  Her extensive courtroom and trial experience, which she obtained as an Assistant Public Defender, aids in the representation of clients in civil cases. 

Cynthia Veintemillas has a strong academic background. She graduated with honors and at the top of her class from Florida Coastal School of Law in Jacksonville, Florida. She has been admitted to practice law in both Florida and South Carolina, obtaining high scores on the bar exams of both states. She continues to further her education by attending and actively participating in legal training seminars.
