Under Florida Statute Section 893.135(1)(d), Trafficking in Phencyclidine occurs when the defendant sells, delivers, manufactures, or possesses 28 grams or more of phencyclidine.

In Jacksonville, Florida, trafficking in phencyclidine carries a minimum mandatory sentence which depends on the amount of phencyclidine involved. If the amount of phencyclidine trafficked is 28 grams, but less than 200 grams, the minimum mandatory sentence is 3 years. Greater than 200 grams, but less than 400 grams of phencyclidine carries a sentence of seven years. Anything more than that carries a sentence of 15 years.
