Under Florida Statute Section 893.135(1)(l), Trafficking in Lysergic Acid Eiethylamide (LSD) occurs when the defendant sells, delivers, manufactures, or possesses one gram or more of LSD.
In Jacksonville, Florida, trafficking in LSD carries a minimum mandatory sentence which depends on the amount of LSD involved. If the amount of LSD trafficked is one gram, but less than five grams, the minimum mandatory sentence is three years. Greater than five kilograms, but less than seven kilograms of LSD carries a sentence of seven years. Anything more than that carries a sentence of 15 years in Florida State Prison.
