1,4- Butanediol

Under Florida Statute Section 893.135(1)(i), Trafficking in 1,4- Butanediol occurs when the defendant sells, delivers, manufactures, or possesses one kilogram or more of 1,4- Butanediol.

In Jacksonville, Florida, trafficking in 1,4- Butanediol carries a minimum mandatory sentence which depends on the amount of 1,4- Butanediol involved. If the amount of 1,4- Butanediol trafficked is one kilogram, but less than 5 kilograms, the minimum mandatory sentence is three years. Greater than five kilograms, but less than ten kilograms of 1,4- Butanediol carries a sentence of seven years. Anything more than that carries a sentence of 15 years in Florida State Prison.
